Slight Increase in the CPI during October 2015 compared with previous month
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during October 2015 recorded a slight increase by 0.09% compared with September 2015 (by 1.11% in Jerusalem J1*, and with a slight increase by 0.06% in Gaza Strip, while it recorded a slight decrease by 0.08% in the West Bank).
The CPI during October 2015 increased by 2.14% compared with October 2014 (by 2.97% in Gaza Strip, 2.54% in the West Bank and by 0.87% in Jerusalem J1*).
The CPI during the first ten months of 2015 increased by 1.48% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 1.82% in Gaza Strip, 1.18% in the West Bank and by 0.38% in Jerusalem J1*).
The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Palestine for October 2015 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
