Increase in the Consumer Price Index during September,09/2016
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during September 2016 increased by 0.10% compared with August 2016 (by 0.83% in Jerusalem J1*, while it decreased by 0.20% in the West Bank**, and by 0.14% in Gaza Strip).
The change in CPI in Palestine for September 2016 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The CPI during September 2016 decreased by 0.68% compared with September 2015 (by 1.87% in Gaza Strip, and by 0.55% in the West Bank**, while it increased by 0.29% in Jerusalem J1*).
The CPI during the first Nine months of 2016 increased by 0.14% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 0.25% in the West Bank**, while it decreased by 1.24% in Jerusalem J1*, and decreased by 0.33% in Gaza Strip).
