Increase in the CPI during March, 03/2017

 

The overall CPI for Palestine during March 2017 increased by 1.08% compared with February 2017 (by 2.33% in Gaza Strip, and by 0.22% in the West Bank**, while it decreased by 0.70% in Jerusalem J1*).

 

The changes in Palestinian CPI for March 2017 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The Palestinian CPI during March 2017 increased by 1.65% compared with March 2016 (by 2.39% in Jerusalem J1*, by 2.03% in Gaza Strip, and by 1.64% in the West Bank**).

 

 

The Palestinian CPI during the first quarter of 2017 increased by 0.67% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 3.20% in Jerusalem J1*, by 0.96% in the West Bank**, and by 0.20% in Gaza Strip).
