Decrease in the Consumer Price Index during July, 07/2017
The overall CPI for Palestine during July 2017 decreased by 0.15% compared with June 2017 (by 0.58% in Gaza Strip, and by 0.13% in Jerusalem J1*, while it increased by 0.36% in the West Bank**).
The changes in Palestinian CPI for July 2017 is traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:

The Palestinian CPI during July 2017 decreased by 0.90% compared with July 2016 (by 1.08% in the West Bank**, and by 0.80% in Gaza Strip, while it increased by 1.05% in Jerusalem J1*).
The Palestinian CPI during the first seven months of 2017 increased by 0.25% compared with the same period of the previous year (by 2.72% in Jerusalem J1*, and by 0.47% in the West Bank**, while it decreased by 0.20% in Gaza Strip).
