Increase in the Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine during July 2017
The overall IPI in Palestine reached 106.37 during July 2017 with an increase of 15.25% compared to the previous month (Base Month December 2015 = 100).
IPI for July 2017 increased due to the increase in the activity of Manufacturing Industry by 17.80% which had a share of 83.19% of the total industry, and the activity of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 10.45% which had a share of 11.98% of the total industry, while the activity of Mining and Quarrying decreased by 16.84% which had a share of 4.06% of the total industry, and the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation by 7.03% which had a share of 0.78% of the total industry.
