Construction Cost Index (CCI), Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank* during February, 02/2018
Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings reached 105.72 with an increase of 0.14% in the West Bank* during February 2018 compared with January 2018 (base year 2013=100).
The CCI for residential buildings increased due to the increase in rental of equipment by 0.26%, and the prices of raw materials by 0.21%. At the same time, labour wages remained stable during February 2018 compared with the previous month.
Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings reached 105.73 with an increase of 0.19% in the West Bank* during February 2018 compared with January 2018 (base year 2013=100).
The CCI for Non-Residential buildings increased due to the increase in rental of equipment by 0.31%, and the prices of raw materials by 0.28%. At the same time, labour wages remained stable during February 2018 compared with the previous month.
Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings reached 105.34 with an increase of 0.23% in the West Bank* during February 2018 compared with January 2018 (base year 2013=100).
The CCI for skeleton buildings, increased due to the increase in rental of equipment by 0.36%, and the prices of raw materials by 0.32%. At the same time, labour wages remained stable during February 2018 compared with the previous month.
Increase in the Road Cost Index (RCI)
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) reached 109.84 with an increase of 0.40% in the West Bank* during February 2018 compared with January 2018 (base month December 2008=100).
The overall RCI increased due to the increase in operating costs of equipment and maintenance by 0.87%, the prices of raw materials by 0.51%, and rental of equipment by 0.45%. At the same time, labour wages remained stable during February 2018 compared with the previous month.
Slight Decrease in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 113.46 with a slight decrease of 0.01% in the West Bank* during February 2018 compared with January 2018 (base month January 2010=100).
Water Networks Cost Index reached 115.40 with a decrease of 0.19%, while Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 109.20 with an increase of 0.42% during February 2018 compared with the previous month.
Increase in the Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI)
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) reached 109.39 with an increase of 0.24% in the West Bank* during February 2018 compared with January 2018 (base month January 2010=100).

* The data of West Bank doesn't include that part of Jerusalem governorate which was annexed forcefully by Israel following its occupation of the West Bank in 1967.
