Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings reached 105.87 with an increase of 0.14% in the West Bank* during March 2018 compared with February 2018 (base year 2013 = 100).
    
The CCI for residential buildings increased due to the increase in the prices of raw materials by 0.40%, while labour wages decreased by 0.49%, and rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.03% during March 2018 compared with the previous month.

Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings reached 105.85 with an increase of 0.12% in the West Bank* during March 2018 compared with February 2018 (base year 2013 = 100).

The CCI for Non-Residential buildings increased due to the increase in the prices of raw materials by 0.33%, while labour wages decreased by 0.49%, and rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.01% during March 2018 compared with the previous month.

Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings reached 105.74 with an increase of 0.38% in the West Bank* during March 2018 compared with February 2018 (base year      2013 = 100).

The CCI for skeleton buildings increased due to the increase in the prices of raw materials by 0.83%, while labour wages decreased by 0.72%, and rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.01% during March 2018 compared with the previous month.

Increase in the Road Cost Index (RCI)
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) reached 110.20 with an increase of 0.32% in the West Bank* during March 2018 compared with February 2018 (base month December  2008 = 100).

The overall RCI increased due to the increase in labour wages by 0.82%, the prices of raw materials by 0.32%, and rental of equipment by 0.30%, while operating costs of equipment and maintenance decreased by 0.61% during March 2018 compared with the previous month.

Increase in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 114.05 with an increase of 0.51% in the West Bank* during March 2018 compared with February 2018 (base month January 2010 = 100).

Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 110.10 with an increase of 0.82%, and Water Networks Cost Index reached 115.84 with an increase of 0.38% during March 2018 compared with the previous month.

Increase in the Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI)
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) reached 109.80 with an increase of 0.37% in the West Bank* during March 2018 compared with February 2018 (base month January 2010 = 100).

Note:
*Data excluded those parts of Jerusalem which were annexed by Israeli Occupation in 1967.

2.    The difference in the percentage change in major groups of road, construction, water networks, and sewage networks cost index is due to the nature compositions of these major groups.
