Slight Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings reached 105.88 with a slight increase of 0.01% in the West Bank* during April 2018 compared with March 2018 (base year 2013 = 100).
The CCI for residential buildings slightly increased due to the slight increase in the prices of raw materials by 0.01%. At the same time, both rental of equipment and labour wages remained stable during April 2018 compared with the previous month.
Slight Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings reached 105.84 with a slight decrease of 0.01% in the West Bank* during April 2018 compared with March 2018 (base year 2013 = 100).
The CCI for Non-Residential buildings slightly decreased due to the slight decrease in the prices of raw materials by 0.02%, At the same time, both rental of equipment and labour wages remained stable during April 2018 compared with the previous month.
Slight Decrease in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings reached 105.73 with a slight decrease of 0.01% in the West Bank* during April 2018 compared with March 2018 (base year 2013 = 100).
The CCI for skeleton buildings slightly decreased due to the slight decrease in rental of equipment by 0.05%. At the same time, both the prices of raw materials and labour wages remained stable during April 2018 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Road Cost Index (RCI)
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) reached 109.63 with a decrease of 0.51% in the West Bank* during April 2018 compared with March 2018 (base month December 2008 = 100).
The overall RCI decreased due to the decrease in rental of equipment by 1.04%, and the prices of raw materials by 0.53%. At the same time, both operating costs of equipment and maintenance and labour wages remained stable during April 2018 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 113.89 with a decrease of 0.14% in the West Bank* during April 2018 compared with March 2018 (base month January 2010 = 100).
Water Networks Cost Index reached 115.51 with a decrease of 0.29%, while Water Reservoirs Cost Index reached 110.32 with an increase of 0.21% during April 2018 compared with the previous month.
Decrease in the Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI)
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) reached 109.44 with a decrease of 0.33% in the West Bank* during April 2018 compared with March 2018 (base month January 2010 = 100).

*Data exclude those parts of Jerusalem which were annexed by Israeli Occupation in 1967.
