Preliminary Results of the Palestinian Registered* External Trade in Goods of June, 06/2018
Exports in Goods:
Exports decreased in June, 2018 by 15% compared to May, 2018. It also decreased by 1.1% compared to June, 2017 and reached USD 81.3 Million.
Exports to Israel decreased in June, 2018 by 12.7% compared to May, 2018 and it represented 90.5% of total exports in June, 2018.
At the same time, exports to other countries decreased by 31.9% during the same period compared to May, 2018.
Imports in Goods:
Imports decreased in June, 2018 by 10.9% compared to May, 2018. While it increased by 5.5% compared to June, 2017 and reached USD 440.8 Million.
Imports from Israel decreased by 4.9% in June, 2018 compared to May, 2018 and it represented 59.8% of total imports in June, 2018.
At the same time, imports from other countries decreased by 18.5% compared to May, 2018.
Net Trade Balance on Registered Goods:
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed a decrease in trade deficit by 10% in June, 2018 compared to May, 2018. While it increased by 7.1% compared to June, 2017 and reached USD 359.5 Million.
