Construction Cost Index (CCI), Road Cost Index (RCI), Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) and Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) in the West Bank* during November,11/2018
Slight Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for residential buildings reached 105.91 with a slight increase by 0.04% in the West Bank* during November 2018 compared with October 2018 (base year 2013 = 100).
The CCI for residential buildings slightly increased due to the slight increase in the prices of raw materials by 0.08%, while rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.09%. At the same time, labour wages remained stable during November 2018 compared with the previous month.
Slight Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Non-residential Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for non-residential buildings reached 105.85 with a slight increase of 0.01% in the West Bank* during November 2018 compared with October 2018 (base year 2013 = 100).
The CCI for Non-Residential buildings slightly increased due to the slight increase in the prices of raw materials by 0.03%, while rental of equipment decreased by 0.16%. At the same time, labour wages remained stable during November 2018 compared with the previous month.
Slight Increase in the Construction Cost Index (CCI) for Skeleton Buildings
The Construction Cost Index (CCI) for skeleton buildings reached 105.51 with a slight increase of 0.04% in the West Bank* during November 2018 compared with October 2018 (base year 2013 = 100).
The CCI for skeleton buildings slightly increased due to the slight increase in the prices of raw materials by 0.06%, while rental of equipment slightly decreased by 0.07%. At the same time, labour wages remained stable during November 2018 compared with the previous month.
Increase in the Road Cost Index (RCI)
The overall Road Cost Index (RCI) reached 110.74 with an increase of 0.67% in the West Bank* during November 2018 compared with October 2018 (base month December 2008 = 100).
The overall RCI increased due to the increase in the prices of raw materials by 1.22%, while the prices of rental of equipment decreased by 0.37%. At the same time, operating costs of equipment and maintenance, and labour wages remained stable during November 2018 compared with the previous month.
Increase in the Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI)
The overall Water Networks Cost Index (WNCI) reached 114.32 with an increase of 0.55% in the West Bank* during November 2018 compared with October 2018 (base month January 2010 = 100).
Water Networks Cost Index reached 116.52 with an increase of 0.85%, while Reservoirs Cost Index reached 109.48 with a decrease of 0.15% during November 2018 compared with the previous month.
Increase in the Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI)
The overall Sewage Networks Cost Index (SNCI) reached 109.75 with an increase of 0.34% in the West Bank* during November 2018 compared with October 2018 (base month January 2010 = 100).
