Exports in Goods
Exports increased in February, 2019 by 1% compared to January, 2019. While it decreased by 13% compared to February, 2018 and reached USD 83.7 Million.
Exports to Israel increased in February, 2019 by 2% compared to January, 2019 and it represented 89% of total exports in February, 2019.
On the other hand, exports to other countries decreased by 2% during the same period compared to January, 2019.
Imports in Goods
Imports decreased in February, 2019 by 9% compared to January, 2019. While it increased by 6% compared to February, 2018 and reached USD 459.8 Million.
Imports from Israel decreased by 3% in February, 2019 compared to January, 2019 and it represented 59% of total imports in February, 2019.
At the same time, imports from other countries decreased by 15% compared to January, 2019.
Trade Balance on Registered Goods
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed a decrease in trade deficit by 10% in February, 2019 compared to January, 2019, While it increased by 11% compared to February, 2018 and reached USD 376.1 Million.
