Exports in Goods
Exports decreased in April, 2019 by 3% compared to March, 2019. It also decreased by 1% compared to April, 2018 and reached USD 90.7 Million.
Exports to Israel slightly decreased in April, 2019 by 0.4% compared to March, 2019 and it represented 87% of total exports in April, 2019.
At the same time, exports to other countries decreased by 19% during the same period compared to March, 2019 and reached USD 12 Million.
Imports in Goods
Imports increased in April, 2019 by 11% compared to March, 2019. It also increased by 7% compared to April, 2018 and reached USD 504.7 Million.
Imports from Israel increased by 12% in April, 2019 compared to March, 2019 and it represented 58% of total imports in April, 2019.
At the same time, imports from other countries increased by 9% compared to March, 2019.
Trade Balance on Registered Goods
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed an increase in trade deficit by 14% in April, 2019 compared to March, 2019. It also increased by 8% compared to April, 2018 and reached USD 414 Million.
