A decrease in Registered* Exports and Imports in Goods
in January, 01/2022 compared to the previous month.
Exports in Goods
Exports decreased in January, 2022 by 16% compared to December, 2021. While it increased by 30% compared to January, 2021 and reached USD 132.8 Million.
Exports to Israel decreased in January, 2022 by 18% compared to December, 2021 and it represented 85% of total exports in January, 2022.
At the same time, exports to other countries decreased by 1% during the same period compared to December, 2021.
Imports in Goods
Imports decreased in January, 2022 by 3% compared to December, 2021. While it increased by 26% compared to January, 2021 and reached USD 618.3 Million.
Imports from Israel decreased by 4% in January, 2022 compared to December, 2021 and it represented 51% of total imports in January, 2022.
At the same time, imports from other countries decreased by 3% compared to December, 2021.
Trade Balance on Registered Goods
The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed an increase in trade deficit by 1% in January, 2022 compared to December, 2021. It also increased by 24% compared to January, 2021 and reached USD 485.5 Million.
