Palestinian Consumer Price Index in the Palestinian Territory
Increase in the CPI, July 2012
The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the Palestinian Territory with its 2004 base year (2004=100) reached 134.93 during July 2012. The CPI increased by 0.41% compared to June 2012, while increased by 1.97% compared to July 2011.
The change in Consumer Price Index (CPI) for July 2012 is traced back to changes in prices of the following major expenditure groups compared to the previous month:
