Decrease in the PPI during April 2013
The overall Producer Price1 Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base month (January 2011=100) reached 101.08 in April 2013, as it decreased by 0.83% compared to March 2013.
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (January 2011=100) reached 100.72 in April 2013, which indicates a decrease by 0.85% compared to March 2013.
Producer Price Index for exported products (January 2011=100) reached 104.68 in April 2013, which indicates a decrease by 0.68% compared to March 2013.
The changes of Producer Price Index for April 2013 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
