Increase in the PPI during June 2013
The overall Producer Price1 Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2011=100) reached 103.36 in June 2013, as it increased by 1.17% compared to May 2013.
Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2011=100) reached 103.25 in June 2013, which indicates an increase by 1.26% compared to May 2013.
Producer Price Index for exported products (2011=100) reached 104.56 in June 2013, which indicates an increase by 0.25% compared to May 2013.
The changes of Producer Price Index for June 2013 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
