Decline in GDP at constant prices in Palestine* during the 3rd quarter 2013 after the increasing during the second quarter 2013
Preliminary estimates at constant prices showed a decrease of 1.3 percent in GDP in Palestine* during the 3rd quarter 2013 compared to the 2nd quarter 2013, while it showed an increase of 2.6 percent compared to the 3rd quarter 2012 (2.5 percent in West Bank* and 2.8 percent in Gaza Strip), and the base year is 2004. GDP for the 3rd quarter 2013 at constant prices was USD 1,288 million for West Bank* and USD 465 million for Gaza Strip.
Gross Domestic Product Per Capita
GDP per Capita for Palestine* at constant prices was USD 419 during the 3rd quarter 2013, it showed a decrease of 0.4 percent compared to the 3rd quarter 2012. As for West Bank* at constant prices it was USD 520 during the 3rd quarter 2013, it showed a decrease by 0.2 percent during the 3rd quarter 2013 compared to the 3rd quarter 2012, and for Gaza Strip was USD 272 during the 3rd quarter 2013, and it showed a decrease of 0.7 percent during the 3rd quarter 2013 compared to the 3rd quarter 2012.
