Index of Quantity of Industrial Production in Palestine During 2012

The overall Quantity of Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine reached 110.28 during the year of 2012 (base month January 2011=100) with an increase of 4.57% compared to the previous year of 2011.

The overall Quantity of Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine reached 114.39 during December 2012 (base month January 2011=100) with an increase of 2.52% compared to the previous month( November).

Quantity of Industrial Production Index for December 2012 increased due to the increase in the manufacturing industry by 5.80% compared to the previous month, which has a share of 80.56% from the total industry. While mining and quarrying industry decreased by 6.20% during December 2012 compared to the previous month which forms a share of 4.59% of the total industry, and water supply and electricity industry decreased by 9.15% compared to the previous month which has a share of 14.85% of the total industry.
