Increase in the Producer Price Index (PPI) during March, 03/2022

The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) for Palestine with its base year (2019 = 100) reached 106.38 in March 2022, as it increased by 0.89% compared to February 2022.

PPI for locally consumed products

Producer Price Index for locally consumed products (2019 = 100) reached 105.89 in March 2022, which indicates an increase of 1.02% compared to February 2022.

PPI for local exported products

Producer Price Index for local exported products (2019 = 100) reached 110.92 in March 2022, which indicates a decrease of 0.19% compared to February 2022.

The changes of PPI for March 2022 were traced back to changes in prices of the following major activities compared to the previous month:
