An increase in Registered* Exports and Imports in Goods in January, 01/2023 compared to the previous month.

 

 

 

Exports in Goods

Exports increased in January, 2023 by 2% compared to December, 2022. It also increased by 15% compared to January, 2022 and reached USD 153.2 Million.

 

Exports to Israel increased in January, 2023 by 2% compared to December, 2022 and it represented 86% of total exports in January, 2023

 

At the same time, exports to other countries increased by 1% during the same period compared to December, 2022.

 

Imports in Goods

Imports increased in January, 2023 by 2% compared to December, 2022. It also increased by 19% compared to January, 2022 and reached USD 733.9 Million.

 

Imports from Israel increased by 1% in January, 2023 compared to December, 2022 and it represented 58% of total imports in January, 2023

 

At the same time, imports from other countries increased by 3% compared to December, 2022.

 

 

 

Trade Balance on Registered Goods

The trade balance which represents the difference between exports and imports showed an increase in trade deficit by 2% in January, 2023 compared to December, 2022. It also increased by 20% compared to January, 2022 and reached USD 580.7 Million.
